Job Description

As a Senior Foundation Engineer on the Drive team, you will work on the core infrastructure that powers Proton Drive. Your role involves developing robust SDKs that serve as the backbone for all Drive applications, ensuring consistency and efficiency across different platforms.
Your tasks- Architect and develop core libraries in C#, TypeScript, and Rust that encapsulate the core functionality of Proton Drive.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimal performance for desktop, mobile, and web clients.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and performance.
- Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, mobile, and desktop developers to integrate core libraries seamlessly.
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure reliability.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation for core libraries to assist other developers.
Your profile- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Rust.
- Deep expertise in Rust language features, concurrency, and ownership models.
- Experience in developing libraries for client applications in web, mobile, or desktop environments.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently.
