Job Description

In this role, you will own the overall product strategy and roadmap for Proton Inbox, working within a fast-moving, low-hierarchy environment that prioritizes impact.
Your tasks
- Develop the product strategy for Proton Mail to achieve business goals regarding weekly users, revenues, and P&L growth.
- Drive the execution of the product roadmap from inception to launch and define the product vision.
- Manage, coach, and grow a team of Product Managers, raising the bar on product craft.
- Partner with engineering, marketing, and growth teams to launch major product initiatives.
- Represent Mail in company-wide planning, negotiating tradeoffs against other Proton product lines.
- Define and own the product KPIs for Mail and hold the team accountable for performance.
- Collaborate with design and user research to ground roadmap decisions in real user needs.
Your profile
- Proven experience owning a major product area end to end, ideally in consumer or productivity software at scale.
- Experience in hiring, managing, and coaching a team of Product Managers.
- A track record of setting product vision and aligning engineering, design, and stakeholders.
- Strong technical fluency and comfort partnering with engineering leadership on architecture and tradeoffs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence executive leadership.
- A bias toward shipping and iterating, matching Proton's culture of hands-on builders.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and support team development across multiple hubs.
- A cost-efficient, scrappy mindset and comfort with ambiguity.
