Job Description
Scandit, a Zurich-based technology company, is looking for a Senior UX Designer to take full ownership of the dashboards and web surfaces where AI model outputs become real decisions for retail and logistics operators. You will rebuild the interaction model from the ground up, as these screens were previously handled by an external design partner.
Your tasks
- Own end-to-end UX for your product areas, from early concept through implementation, with a focus on data visualization dashboards
- Translate complex technical capabilities and dense operational data into clear, powerful user experiences through user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, tech leads, QA, and field teams to keep workflows coherent and balance UX against technical and commercial constraints
- De-risk the roadmap through research: scope studies with an external research partner, leverage field teams for continuous user access, and run lightweight studies independently
- Contribute to Scandit's product design system in partnership with the Staff Designer, peers, and engineering
Your profile
- 6+ years as a UX Designer in SaaS, enterprise, or technology-focused environments
- At least 2 years working on data-dense operational surfaces such as analytics, reporting, BI, or dashboards
- Demonstrated end-to-end delivery across web and mobile products, from research and concepting through detailed design to implementation
- Hands-on experience in cross-functional product teams with Product, Engineering, and Enterprise Success
- Fluent in English and German; occasional travel for field research or onsite collaboration
