Job Description

SonarSource is the leader in AI code review and verification, trusted by over 75% of the Fortune 100. As a Cloud Platform Engineer in our Geneva team, you will help build the cloud infrastructure that powers the next stage of our product evolution.

• Develop, enhance, and operate cloud solutions on AWS with a focus on automation, high performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Take part in defining novel cloud solution designs and lead their development.
• Work in sprints within a cross-functional squad alongside backend, frontend, SRE, and other cloud platform engineers.
• Collaborate with other squads in Product Development and Mission Control to ensure solutions fit into the Sonar platform.
• Contribute to operating services, including defining SLOs, investigating alarms, and responding to incidents.

• At least 2 years of experience architecting, developing, and operating cloud solutions on AWS for Web/API applications.
• Knowledge of AWS networking and core services such as CloudFront, CloudWatch, ECS, Lambda, RDS, SNS, and SQS.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C#) and one scripting language (Bash or similar).
• Experience with on-call operations for global services and working in an agile environment.
• Strong DevOps mindset.
