Job Description
Novartis Pharma AG in Basel is seeking a Process Expert to provide front-line technical support in the BDSS Cell Bank Center, ensuring GMP-compliant manufacturing and continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
Your tasks- Lead lifecycle management of cell banks, covering availability, inventory control, manufacturing, qualification, and compliance with global regulatory requirements.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for assigned products and processes, providing real-time shop floor support and rapid troubleshooting.
- Ensure GMP-compliant execution of manufacturing operations, including batch monitoring, process validation, and production documentation.
- Drive training, qualification, and capability development of production teams.
- Lead deviation, complaint, OOS/OOE, CAPA, and root cause investigation activities.
- Manage cross-functional projects, technology transfers, and process changes in compliance with cGMP and HSE requirements.
- Monitor and improve product and process performance through trend analysis, KPI reporting, and risk assessments.
Your profile- BSc. in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent scientific degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a process support role on the shop floor of GMP manufacturing.
- Excellent knowledge of upstream processes using mammalian cells and very good understanding of cell bank processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and German.
